Read – Boy Schilperoord’s Short Story:
At the Changing Game Program, we believe basketball is about more than just physical skills—it’s about developing the mindset, focus, and resilience that help players succeed both on and off the court.
Take Boy Schilperoord, for example. Since joining our program, he has not only honed his shot form, dribbling, and footwork, but also strengthened his mental approach to the game. Through our weekly individual sessions, Boy sets achievable goals, reflects on his progress, and builds the confidence to face challenges head-on.
Our mindset interviews, held twice a year, allow players like Boy to assess their mental strengths and weaknesses. By providing practical strategies to manage pressure, maintain focus, and stay motivated, we help players develop resilience and consistency, key skills that last far beyond the court.
Creating highlight reels and mini-documentaries of each player’s journey also supports mental growth. Seeing their own progress helps players internalize their achievements, stay patient with the process, and maintain a positive, determined mindset.
Through the Changing Game Program, players don’t just become better athletes—they become mentally stronger, more confident, and more resilient individuals, ready to tackle challenges in every area of life.
